Friday Delight
Last Friday was the third year in a row I have had the priveledge to be apart of Lockmar Elementary's Career Day! It is always awesome to have the chance to inspire a child to follow a dream and of course explain to them the importance of having an educated mind. As always it was a great time talking to the kiddies. They definately have quite the imagination! Obviously wheelies across the Ball court aren't enough; the kids told me I should have a ring of fire to jump through for next year. If anyone would like to help me out and write a couple letters to the Superintendent of the Brevard County school district, I would greatly appreciate it :) I mean we could start small and just bring in a freestlye ramp or maybe a load of dirt, right? Anywhoo here are some pics and props to Kaitlin and Megan for the awesome introductions to each group I presented to! You ladies rock!!

To possibly be able to encourage and make a difference in the life of a child is a blessing. Little do they know how much it makes a difference in mine,
Thank you.

Lulu Lemonhead, Phenekee & Fabio, and PerrywinkleJudging by the title you can tell the last 4 days of my life have been spent with kids; under the age of 24. Yes, the past 4 days I have had the priveledge of having a blast! I won't use the word baby sitting because that wouldn't be accurate for my situation. You see my bestfriend Amanda and her hubby Bernard went on a cruise and I got the kiddo's! Ninety-Six hours have gone by faster than Chevy(their big Rottweiler) getting off the couch that she isn't suppose to be on!! I have learned a lot! From Lala Lupsey who I call LuLu Lemonhead to Perry the Palatapus from Phenius and Ferb; who I call Perrywinkle from Phenekee and Fabio, another name for a doughnut is a Toroid, and a dance to Carly Rae Jepsen's Call Me Maybe. Also, B.S. doesn't stand for what you think it does, cleary it stands for Baby Snot. We spent our days at parks, the moto track, docks on the river, feeding fishies, and at my Granparents house! Oh and I forgot how fun it was to make a fort! Of course we went all out with sheets, dining room chairs, pillows, blankets and an Orby lamp(for our nightlight) made by Amira!! We packed as much fun into our days as possible!
With all the fun and craziness, I managed to sit down on a swing and take it all in. Back and forth I swung and just watched. Kids with their parents, kids playing by themselves or with other kids, parents yellihng and screaming at their kids. I know I am not a parent, and I can't even imagine what it is like to be one. I do want to say how important I think it is for a child to have a person/people around them who set good examples in their lives. Maybe its a parent, a sister, Grandparents, or a friend. There just needs to be somebody. The world is a tough and scary place sometimes, and it's to easy too get caught up in all the absurdities that go along with it. Kids are like a sponge and will soak up just about everything! From your nail polish and hairstyle, to your facial expressions, to your values, they will be right there waiting to absorb every detail. Pay your positive actions forward and know that they do speak louder than your words. Aspire to be great!
We take care of them now; they'll take care of us later. xo

Best Day EverAnd no Mac Miller, I am not referencing your album! Since obviously I know you check my site out, duh! Today was a beautiful day. Speaking of beautiful, did you ever notice how nice it looks written in cursive instead of print? Yeah go ahead and scribe it out on that scrap paper infront of you or change the text on your iPhone. Anywhoo I have come along way to get where I am at this moment and I couldn't be happier. I've still got a way to go, and I will continue to tell myself that. Thanks to Julia, Lisa(for the use of the motorbike :)), Bobby, The Behlok Residence and of course my Dad for witnessing The beginning.
